Users have reported that Internet Explorer can still be run on Windows 11 due to a bug. "Verge" experts checked this and confirmed that, indeed, Microsoft left such a loophole for enthusiasts or because of a bug.
To launch IE in Windows 11, you need to enter the query “Internet options” (internet options) in the search bar, then select the “Programs” tab and click on the “Manage add-ons” option there. After that, click on the "Learn more about toolbars and extensions" hyperlink. This will launch Internet Explorer.
As of June 15, 2022, Microsoft has ended support for the Internet Explorer 11 desktop app. Users are strongly encouraged to migrate to the Edge browser and, if necessary, use Microsoft Edge in Internet Explorer mode.
On May 19, 2021, Microsoft announced that it will be ending support for the Internet Explorer 11 app for some versions of Windows 10 as of June 2022. The company will only promote and develop the new Chromium-based Microsoft Edge. Microsoft has explained that there are 4 phases to gracefully phase out IE in enterprise environments. The company provided step-by-step examples for each step and made a separate page called "Disabling Internet Explorer 11".
