Windows 11 version 22H2 will be available for everyone very soon. But we`ve already known about some new features of this update. For example, we will get changes at the Explorer main page and new Favorites category.
As you can see on the picture, in Windows 11 22h2 page "Quick access" is called "Home" now. But it has 3 parts:
- Quick access - here the same folders we got used to (desktop, downloads, documents, etc.)
- Favourites - you can manually add some files or links here through the context menu to have quick access to them. In new version you can also add documents from OneDrive there.
- Recent - you will see recently opened files here. It could be usefull for work.

How to setup Explorer main opening page?
- - Go to Menu (3 points ...) -> Options
- - At the bottom in line "Open File Explorer to" choose what page you want to open when clicking on the explorer button.
- In the last version we couldn`t choose OneDrive page, but now we can.
I think it is convenient to use Home page as the main one. I have already got used to it. If you will add important files to Favorites, you don`t need to store it on the desktop anymore. It`s so nice when desktop is empty, isn`t it? Share your thougths in comments...
